As promised here is another Apothecary Art card

which is double framed with the new Label Framelits.

I colored in the flowers using the Stamp 'n Write Markers.

Second Style Beautiful Valentine

I made this second Style Beautiful Valentine card

after I made the one on yesterday's post.

I wanted to stamp the image on the background to 

fill it in more and chose Always Artichoke

instead of Basic Black card stock.

I also used the Pinking Hearts Border punch

along the bottom of the Always Artichoke piece.

Style Beautiful Love Card

 This Style Beautiful Love card is a Valentine I

created several weeks ago.

Technique: Use a design stamp on a piece of card stock 

then use pieces of that paper to cut letters out or punch out.

UStream Tonight

On tonight's show a different version of this

mini book will be made which will be a

non-traditional Valentine theme.

retired, so it's no longer available.

I will be using 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper (also retired),

rubber stamps, and accessories for this project.

Bumble Bee Card

Isn't this bumble bee card cute?

This is one card out of a set of six cards

which are all different and will be a

Christmas gift for someone special to me.

This card shows of punch art.

What is punch art? It is using punches

in unusual ways to create an object

or scene or people images.

I cannot take credit for designing this card.

Monika Davis designed the whole set

for Ustamp with Dawn and Friends Knock Out Punches.

The Knock Out Punches event is over but there are over

40 projects with tutorials available,

all done using a different color combination

and every project uses at least one punch.

There is also a free blog hop featuring

Christmas items and has several

projects with tutorials.

 

Stampin' Up! Supplies:

Stamps: Perfect Words (Hostess)

Papers: Chocolate Chip, Old Olive,

More Mustard, Basic Black

Vellum

As for the list of punches I won't include that here

as that would give away how this was made.

The flowers were made with 

a long ago retired Stampin' Up! punch.

(I didn't have the item on the supplies

list which Monika used for her version.)

The vellum wings were sprayed with

Frost White Shimmer Paint mixed

with rubbing alcohol.

I over sprayed which caused the wings to curl up.

 

Challenge: Treat the people you see today 

with an extra dose of Christmas cheeriness.

Even if you don't feel like it,

do it any way. It just might put you and

the other person in a better mood.

After a rough weekend during most of which it hurt to walk

then physical therapy today my hip needs to relax tonight.
